Drama Camp!

Build sets, learn songs and dialogue, choreography,
blocking, and most important: teamwork skills.

We usually get younger kids, but older kids are welcome
to come, too, and we have a few of those as well.

I'm a musician who happened to luck into some property that lends itself really well to being a performance space, basically. I built the stage specifically so fellow musicians would have a nice place to play for small audiences, perhaps for CD release parties or just a personal event.

I also initially figured I'd host or help host public events here as well.

It would be a great place to teach kids (and adults) about nature, specifically invasive species (the woods are completely overgrown with english ivy, along with far too many larger invasive plants).

It would certainly be a peaceful spot to preach, if your congregation needs a field trip to spice things up.

After an engaged couple came by and asked if they could use the space for their wedding, I realized I must've built SOMEthing nice.

And not so long back a friend of a friend used it to do a photoshoot.

In short, it's whatever YOU want it to be. I built for all of us to share.

The name comes, of course, from A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories. If you ask me in person, I'll show you where Eeyore's place is and where Rabbit's dug his burrow. Pooh, himself being a more civilized bear, prefers to live mostly inside the house with me... and the honey.
